Text is the way we talk nowadays. It’s simple, fast, and effective. Text messages cost about 5 cents per message. Keep in mind this message is delivered to customer’s cellophanes. All of them opted in to hear about news, discounts, and capons. 93% of text messages are opened and read in minutes.
Coupons-You have to remember to cut out the coupon and bring it in. Not eco friendly. Expensive; the cost of postage/print, and it only receives a 1-3% read rate.
Email- it is much better of course but customers are not always by their computer and only have at best a 20% open rate with opted in customers. More smart phones were bought this last quarter than computers.
